Shipping Containers have been used for general freight and cargo for many years. They have been used for International Shipments and Interstate Container Moving because they are sturdy and portable. Currently, there are approximately 17 Million containers worldwide! A shipping container is a container with strength suitable to withstand shipment, storage, and handling. A Sea container is designed to be moved from one mode of transport to another without unloading and reloading.
Interstate Container Transport- How to Pack
When packing a sea container, take the time to pack the items tightly so nothing moves during transit. Work your way along in tiers loading from bottom to top. Look at the spaces in the tier and then go and look for suitable items to fill that particular space. Use padding, blankets and soft items to fill in the gaps. Make sure you utelise the tie down rails along the walls, or loops on the floor and ceiling. Using strong rope, tie off large items and groups of boxes to the tie rails and loops at regular intervals to secure your goods.
